MARMOCRET-1 is a pre-mixed, one-layer render (skim coat). It only requires the addition of water. It replaces the two final layers (basic and finishing coat) of common rendering work, applied in a maximum thickness of 3 cm.

Substrate preparation
The substrate should be stable, free of dust, oily or loose materials, etc. and then thoroughly dampened. A bonding spatterdash (rough cast) with MARMOCRET-BOND should be applied on the surface, before the application of MARMOCRET-1. After the bonding spatterdash has dried, MARMOCRET-1 may be applied.
Application
MARMOCRET-1 is added into clean water under continuous stirring, until the mortar formed has the required workability. The render is applied by hand, using a float, trowel or rendering machine. The render is then smoothed by hand, using a spongy float, after it has sufficiently set. Working time depends on substrate absorptivity, ambient temperature and workability of the mixture.
