MARMOCRET Decor offers:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Total water repellency, according to DIN 18550.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Excellent vapor permeability (breathability).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">An industrial mortar with stable standardized properties.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Suitability for indoor and outdoor application.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Crack prevention unlike ordinary cement-lime renders.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Simplified application on site (needs only water).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">MARMOCRET Decor is used as the finish coat of rendering work, to create a white, water-repellent, coarse-textured, final surface. It usually replaces the final render coat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Substrate preparation<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">The substrate must be free of dust, oily or loose materials etc. and should be thoroughly dampened, before the application of MARMOCRET Decor. If a rendering coat has been previously applied, its compressive strength has to be equal to or higher than the one of MARMOCRET Decor, according to the general principle dictating that every preceding layer should be stronger than the next one. In case of colored (other than white) render application, it is recommended to prime the surface wwith PL-PRIMER, which reduces the absorptivity of the substrate, thus ensuring a uniform surface color. The substrate may be a rendering coat, or even a concrete or masonry surface.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Application<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">MARMOCRET Decor is added into clean water under continuous stirring, until a mortar of the required workability is formed. The mixer to be used should be clean, to avoid any alteration of the render&#8217;s color. The render is applied by hand, using a float, trowel or rendering machine in a thickness of 2,5-3,5 mm. The render is then treated (pressed) witha plastic or wooden float, in horizontal, vertical, or circular movements, depending on the desirable appearance of the surface.
