RETADOL is a liquid admixture that retards concrete setting and has a water reducing (plasticizing) action (ASTM C-494: Type D), offering the following advantages:<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n

  • Enables transport of ready-mixed concrete over long distances.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Helps avoid construction joints, even in case of long breaks while concreting.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • At the proper dosage, does not retard the development of the initial strength of concrete that would\u00a0 delay formwork removal.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Due to its plasticizing properties, reduces the amount of water required and the resulting water\/cement ratio, thus significantly increasing both the initial and the final strength.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Improves pumpability of concrete.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Facilitates compaction of concrete.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Reduces segregation and bleeding.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Reduces cracking and shrinkage.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Free of chlorides and other corrosive constituents.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Has no air entraining action.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Compatible with all kinds of Portland cement.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Certified with the CE marking as set retarding – water reducing – concrete plasticizing admixture, according to EN 934-2: T10, Certificate Nr: 0906- CPR-02412007\/01.<\/span>
    \nRETADOL is used in all cases where the stting time of concrete has to be retarded, such as long-distance transport of ready-mixed concrete, hot weather concreting, avoiding construction joints, etc., providing at the same time improved quality and workability of concrete.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
