CEMENTO MATERICO by OIKOS is a lime based coating able to create a textured effect with a thickness of just a few millimetres. Its even paste, created using sand, selected marble grains and slaked lime putty, makes it easy to apply. Using the indicated technique, it is possible to realise a variety decorative, concrete effects. Thanks the products composition, which has been further reinforced in order to ensure a whole and compact look over time, CEMENT MATERICO guarantees high impact resistance to accidental shocks (category>IR5). The lime putty of which it is made is a natural product which offers a level of well-being rendering wall surfaces more hygienic. Furthermore, the material’s high vapour permeability prevents the development of mould and bacteria. The product’s particular decorative effect, given by the specific opacity and range of available colours, combined with its reduced weight offers a unique solution to enhance modern environments in an original way. Surface preparation<\/span>
\nSurfaces must be thoroughly dry and fully matured. New plaster must have matured for at least 30 days to allow the full carbonatation of the substrate. Clean the surface to be coated, removing any loose or flaking material. On old or powdering surfaces, it is recommended to apply a coat of the sealer NEOFIX by OIKOS. On all other types of surfaces, apply a coat of IL PRIMER by OIKOS to even the level of surface absorption.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nIn order to ensure a greater level of protection and render the surface more waterproof, it is recommended to apply the product PROTETTIVO PER STUCCO E MARMORINO by Oikos after approcimately 7 days.<\/span><\/p>\n

Safety Informations<\/strong><\/span>
\nThe product is free of heavy metals such as lead or chrome. It does not contain toxic solvents, aromatics or chlorides. There is no risk of any dangerous polymerisation. The product is classified as hazardous pursuant to the provisions set forth in the Regulations (CE) 1272\/2008 (CLP) and subsequent amendments and supplements. For further information see the product Safety Data Sheet. Normal cautionary measures for the handling of water based paints are advised. No special arrangements are required for the storage, movement and transportation of the product; the containers, residue, eventual spilt material should be cleaned up using absorbent inert material such as sand, soil etc, and then disposed of in accordance with the regional and national regulations in force at that time. Transportation must be carried out in accordance with international agreements.<\/span><\/p>\n
