EXTRA-TOP is a pre-blended mortar containing quartz aggregates and special admixtures used onto the fresh surface of industrial floors, providing high abrasion and impact resistance.<\/strong> Certified according to EN 13813 and is classified as CT-C70-F7-AR2. CE marked. EXTRA-TOP has received an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) following an assessment of its life-cycle environmental impacts. Registration No: S-P-09181, The International EPD System.<\/span><\/p>\n

EXTRA-TOP is used in those applications where high mechanical strength is required. It is applied to cement-based substrates like concrete or cement screeds. Suitable for industries, basements, auto repair shops, machine shops, car parks, warehouses, loading and unloading areas, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

Substrate preparation<\/span><\/strong>
\nThe substrate can be either:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • the fresh reinforced concrete structure, or<\/span><\/li>\n
  • a leveling screed at least 5 cm thick, which will have to be well adhered to the substrate (concrete) through a bonding layer of ADIPLAST, DUREBOND or FERROSEAL.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Application<\/span><\/strong>
    \nEXTRA-TOP is applied dry. It is evenly broadcast onto the fresh concrete or screed, right after initial set, in two stages (1st stage: approx. 2\/3 of the total quantity, 2nd stage: the rest 1\/3 of the total quantity).<\/span>
    \nFinally, the material is treated with a special smoothing machine (power float). With the smoothing machine, compaction of the first application to the fresh concrete is achieved and then follows the compaction and the treatment of the second application.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    • Temperature during application should be at least +5 oC.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • The product contains cement, which reacts with water forming alkaline solutions, thus is classified as irritant.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>[\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″]

      • 12 months from production date if stored in its original, unopened packaging, in places protected from moisture and frost.<\/span><\/li>\n
