Pre-mixed mortar with corundum, quartz aggregates and special admixtures for hardening the surface of new industrial floors.<\/strong> It offers very high resistance to abrasion and impact. Certified according to En 13913 and classified as CT-C80-F10-AR1. CE marked. EXTRA-TOP CR has received an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) following an assessment of its life-cycle environmental impacts. Registration No: S-P-09181, The International EPD System.<\/span>
\nEXTRA-TOP CR is used in applications where high mechanical strength is required. It is applied to cementitious substrates like concrete or screed. It is suitable for industrial floors, basements, auto repair shops, machine shops, parking lots, warehouses, loading-unloading areas, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

Substrate<\/span><\/strong>
\nThe substrate can be:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Reinforced concrete<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Screed at least 5 cm thick that will have to be well adhered to the substrate (concrete) through a bonding layer with ADIPLAST, DUREBOND or FERROSEAL.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Application<\/span><\/strong>
    \nEXTRA-TOP CR is applied dry in two layers (1st layer about 2\/3 of the total quantity, 2nd layer the rest 1\/3 of the total quantity) by broadcasting on fresh concrete or screed right after it starts setting. Finally , the material is treated with a special smoothing machine (power float). Power floating ensures the first layer is compacted against the fresh concrete. Then, the second layer is compacted and treated the same way.<\/span><\/p>\n
