The impregnated surfaces become stable and durable, resistant to abrasion, frost and chemicals, especially to waste, mineral oils and petroleum products. Certified according to EN 13813 and classified as SB-B2,0. CE marked.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">DUROFLOOR-BI is used for in-depth impregnation treatment of cement-based substrates, e.g. old and new concrete, cement screeds or plaster, etc. Suitable for floors in car parks, warehouses, laboratories, industries, gas stations, auto repair shops, etc. Also used as a primer for EPOXYCOAT, EPOXYCOAT-VSF and EPOXYCOAT-S epoxy coatings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Substrate preparation<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The flooring surface should be:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Dry and stable.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Free of materials that might impair bonding, e.g. dust, loose particles, grease, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Protected from negative water pressure.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Depending on the nature of the substrate, it should be prepared by brushing, grinding and cleaning with a high-suction vacuum cleaner, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Mixing of components<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Components A (resin) and B (hardener) are packaged in two separate, pre-measured containers with fixed mixing ration by weight. The two components are mixed in a clean and dry container &#8211; a mixing time of about 5 minutes with a low-speed mixer (300 rpm) is recommended. It is important to stir the mixture thoroughly near the sides and bottom of the container to achieve uniform dispersion of the hardener.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Application &#8211; Consumption<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">DUROFLOOR-BI is applied with a roller, brush or spray in one or two layers, depending on the absorbency of the substrate. The second layer is applied 15 min after the fist one.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Consumption: 150-250 g\/m2\/layer.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">DUROFLOOR-BI may be applied on new concrete (approx. 3 days old) because curing is not disturbed. It may also be applied to slightly wet substrates (moisture content up to 6%) In both cases a low impregnation depth is achieved. If an impregnation depth of about 5 mm into concrete is required, moisture content should be less than 3%.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;]<div class=\"standard-arrow bullet-top\"><ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The workability of epoxy materials is affected by temperature. The ideal temperature of application is between +15 oC\u00a0 and +25 oC, for which the product obtains optimal workability and curing time. Room temperature below +15 oC will extend curing time while temperatures above +30 oC will reduce it. It is recommended to midly preheat the product during winter and store the product in a cool room before application during summer.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">DUROFLOOR-BI contains solvents. In case of application in confined spaces, measures for good ventilation should be taken.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Non-uniform abrobency of the substrate may cause a non-uniform surface appearance after impregnation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Bonding between succesive layers may be severely affected by moisture or dirt present between them.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>[\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;]<div class=\"standard-arrow bullet-top\"><ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Epoxy layers should be protected from moisture for 4-6 hours after application. Moisture may whiten the surface or\/and make it sticky. It may also hinder hardening.
