{"id":7076,"date":"2023-07-20T12:57:14","date_gmt":"2023-07-20T12:57:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aedcolor.com\/?page_id=7076"},"modified":"2023-11-23T10:36:42","modified_gmt":"2023-11-23T10:36:42","slug":"durofloor-cmt","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/aedcolor.com\/index.php\/durofloor-cmt\/?lang=en","title":{"rendered":"DUROFLOOR-CMT"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;2\/3&#8243;][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;DUROFLOOR-CMT&#8221; font_container=&#8221;tag:h2|font_size:50|text_align:left&#8221; use_theme_fonts=&#8221;yes&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;7025&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>DUROFLOOR-CMT is a pourable, self-leveling flooring based on cement and epoxy resins, without solvents.<\/strong> It offers the following advantages:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Simple and affordable application.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">High early and final mechanical strength.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Superior adhesion to the substrate.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">High vapor permeability.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Exceptional self-leveling capacity.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">No corrosion action (safe for steel reinforcement).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">DUROFLOOR-CMT is used for:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">repairing,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">smoothing, and<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">leveling<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">concrete floors to be covered with:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">epoxy flooring (DUROFLOOR)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">polyurethane floorings<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">plastic floorings,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">carpet,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">wooden parquet, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">It is also applied when concrete is relatively fresh in order to create the proper substrate-of at least 2 mm thickness-for the application of epoxy layers, to avoid problems of detachment etc. Also, it is appropriate as final flooring, at a thickness of up to 3mm, for smoothing, leveling and increasing surface resistance to mechanical loads.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Substrate<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">The surfaces to be treated must be:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Stable and dry or slightly wet, without standing water.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Clean, free of materials that prevent bonding, such as dust, loose particles, grease, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">For very absorbent or porous substrates, the surface should be first primed with the water-based epoxy primer EPOXYPRIMER-500, as it is or diluted 30% with water by weight. The primer is applied by brush or roller in one layer.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Primer consumption: 200-300 g\/m2.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">The application of DUROFLOOR-CMT follows after the primer can be walked on. (Approximately 6 hours later, depending on the temperature and humidity of the application area).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Mixing of DURFLOOR-CMT<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Components A, B and C are packaged in predetermined mixing proportions. At first, component A must be stirred well in its container and then should be moved to a clean vessel of approx. 30 l volume. Subsequently the entire contents of component B should be added to component A. Mixing of the two components should carry on for approx. 30 seconds, with a low-revolution mixer (300 rpm). It is important to stir the mixture thoroughly near the sides and bottom of container, to achieve uniform dispersion of the hardener. Finally, the component C is added under continuous stirring. Mixing is done with a low-revolution mixer and is carried on until the mixture becomes completely uniform (approx. for 3 minutes). No water should be added in the mixture.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Application procedure<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">DUROFLOOR-CMT should be applied at a thickness of up to 3 mm by using a notched trowel. Alternatively a large rubber trowel (squeegee) or a metal trowel can be used as well. In order to release air trapped into the self-leveling layer, the surface must be rolled over with a special spiked roller. This prevents formation of bubbles and helps to achieve a uniform thickness.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;]<div class=\"standard-arrow bullet-top\"><ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Working time of epoxy systems decreases when ambient temperature rises.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In case recoat time is longer than expected old floors are t be laid again, the surface should be thoroughly cleaned and grout before application of the new layer.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">After hardening, DUROFLOOR-CMT is totally safe for health.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>[\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;]<div class=\"standard-arrow bullet-top\"><ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The surface of DUROFLOOR-CMT after the application should be protected from moisture for 24 hours. Moisture may whiten the surface or\/and make it sticky. it may also disturb hardening.
