Technical characteristics<\/span><\/strong>
\nWater-based enamel suitable for use on all types of surfaces: iron, wood, zinc sheets, PVC etc. It is easy to use and does not drip or run during application. it adheres well to the surface and dilates to give excellent coverage and at the same time os highly resistant to abrasion and washing. The product is non-yellowing. It is available in Gloss, Satin and Matt finishes, in over 2000 shades. Product certified in class A+ under emissions classifications (Decree of the Official French Gazzette dated 19th April 2011). It does not contain firmaldehyde.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ideal Use<\/span><\/strong>
\nOn iron, wood, zinc, PVC etc. on interior and exterior surfaces.<\/span><\/p>\n

Surface Preparation<\/span><\/strong>
\nClean the surface to be treated, removing any loose material. Traces of dirt or grease must be removed using appropriate products. <\/span>
\nOn iron:<\/strong> sand down and in the presence of rust apply one coat of CONVERTITORE ECOLOGICO by OIKOS dollowed by a coat of ANTIRUGGINE ECOLOGICO by OIKOS\u00a0<\/span>
\nOn wood: sand down and apply a coat of ECOFONDO RIEMPITIVO by OIKOS. Once completely dry, sand down with fine sandpaper. <\/span>
\nOn zinc sheets, PVC and smooth surfaces:<\/strong> clean and degrease, where possible sand down with fine sandpaper. Following this apply one coat of ECOAGGRAPPANTE by OIKOS. <\/span>
\nOn already painted surfaces:<\/strong> sand down with fine sandpaper, apply one coat of SOTTOSMALTO ECOLOGICO by OIKOS.<\/span><\/p>\n

Application method<\/span><\/strong>
\nApply two coats of ECOSMALTO UNIVERSALE using a special brush for acrylic enamels or roller leaving 5-6 hours between coats. For application by spray hun dilute with 5% drinkable water.<\/span><\/p>\n

Safety Information<\/span><\/strong>
\nThe product is free of heavy metals such as lead or chrome. It does not contain toxic solvents, aromatics or chlorides. There is no risk of any dangerous polymerisation. The product is considered to be a non-dangerous substance if used in the technically correct manner. Normal cautionary measures for the handling of water based paints are advised. No special arrangements are required for the storage, movement and transportation of the product; the containers, residue, eventual spilt material should be cleaned up using absorbent inert material such as sand, soil etc. and then disposed of in accordance with the regional and national regulations in force at that time. Transportation must be carried out in accordance with international agreements.<\/span><\/p>\n

Specifications<\/span><\/strong>
\nApply an acrylic enamel compliant with the toy safety standard EN 71-3: 2019 + A1: 2021 and with antibacterial effect as per ISO 22196: 2011 such as ECOSMALTO UNIVERSAL using the specific primer according to the surface to be treated.
