Technical Characteristics<\/span><\/strong>
\nEcological acrylic varnish for wood, available in either gloss or matt finish. The product forms a protective film that prevents the penetration of water and the attack of mites, bacteria and mould whilst at the same time bringing out the natural beauty of the wood. The product is non-yellowing, scratch resistant, and resistant to exterior conditions and UV rays.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nProtection and decoration of wood surfaces in interior and exterior.<\/span><\/p>\n

Surface Preparation<\/span><\/strong>
\nClean the surface to be treated, removing any dust and dirt. Resinous wood must be cleaned with appropriate products.<\/span><\/p>\n

On already treated wood:<\/strong> sand with fine sand paper.<\/span><\/p>\n

On new wood, never treated before, or on wood brought back to a paint-free surface:<\/strong> apply one coat of TURAPORI ECOLOGICO or ECOIMPREGNANTE LEGNO by OIKOS.<\/span><\/p>\n

On very absorbent, old wood:<\/strong> apply one or two coats of ECOIMPREGNANTE LEGNO.<\/span><\/p>\n

Application method<\/span><\/strong>
\nAfter having prepared the surface, apply by brush, roller or spray gun (0,8-1,3 mm nozzle), two coats of ECOPROTETTIVO LEGNO leaving 6 hours between coats. Apply on wood with a humidity level of less than 15%.<\/span><\/p>\n

Safety Information<\/span><\/strong>
\nThe product is free of heavy metals such as lead or chrome. It does not contain toxic solvents, aromatics or chlorides. There is no risk of any dangerous polymerisation. The product is considered to be a non-dangerous substance if used in the technically correct manner. Normal cautionary measures for the handling of water based paints are advised. No special arrangements are required for the storage, movement and transportation of the product; the containers, residue, eventual spilt material should be cleaned up using absorbent inert material such as sand, soil etc. and then disposed of in accordance with international agreements.<\/span><\/p>\n

Specifications<\/span><\/strong>
\nClean, degrease and sand down the surface to be treated, removing any loose material. The surfaces must be fully dry (humidity less than 15%). Apply two coats of a transparent acrylic varnish such as ECOPROTETTIVO LEGNO.
