CE marked.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">TOPCOAT-PU 720 is used for the protection of polyurethane waterproofing coating from:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">UV exposure, especially when a dark color has been chosen,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">pedestrian and light vehicular traffic (e.g. parking decks).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Furthermore, it can be used for protection of metal and concrete surfaces.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Substrate preparation<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">The substrate must be completely dry, clean, free of grease, loose particles, dust, etc. Existing polyurethane waterproofing coatings do not require priming.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">1.1 Metal surfaces<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em><span style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;\">Metal surfaces should be:<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Dry and clean.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Free of grease, loose particles, dust, etc. that might impair adhesion.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Free of rust or corrosion that might impair adhesion.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Having been prepared\u00a0 by brushing, rubbing, sandblasting, etc. and then thoroughly cleaned from dust, metal surfaces are primed with the anticorrosive epoxy coating EPOXYCOAT-AC in one or two layers. EPOXYCOAT-AC is applied by roller, brush or spray. The second layer follows after the first has dried but within 24 hours.\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Consumption: 150-200 g\/m2\/layer.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Application of TOPCOAT-PU 720 should follow within the next 24-48 hours.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">1.2. Concrete surfaces<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Concrete surfaces must be treated with the polyurethane primer PRIMER-PU 100 in one coat, with a consumption of approx.. 200 g\/m2.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Application<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Before application, it is recommended to slightly stir TOPCOAT-PU 720 until it becomes homogeneous. Excessive stirring should be avoided to prevent air entrapment. TOPCOAT-PU 720 is applied by brush, roller or spray in one or two layers, 2-3 hours after priming and while PRIMER-PU 100 is still tacky.
