CE marked. <em>EPOMAX-CMT is used for:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">repairing,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">smoothing and<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">leveling<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">of concrete walls and floors that will be covered with:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">epoxy coating<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">polyurethane coatings<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">plastic floorings,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">carpet,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">wooden parquet, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">It is also applied when concrete is relatively fresh to create the proper substrate-at least 2 mm thick-for the application of epoxy layers to avoid problems of detachment etc. Also, it is suitable for use as a final layer, at a thickness of up to 3 mm, for smoothing, leveling and increasing surface resistance to mechanical loads in corrosive environments.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Substrate preparation<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The surfaces to be treated must be:<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Stable and slightly wet, without standing water.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Clean, free of materials that prevent bonding, such as dust, loose particles, grease, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">EPOMAX-CMT may be applied on relatively fresh concrete. However, the concrete should be at least 3 days old, in order to avoid cracks, due to concrete shrinkage. Before applying EPOMAX-CMT, the surface has to be well dampened with water.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Mixing of EPOMAX-CMT<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Components A,B and C are packaged in separate containers at a predetermined mixing ratio. At first, component A must be stirred well in its container. Then, it should be put in a clean container of approx. 30 l. Subsequently, the whole quantity of component B should be added to component A. The two components should be mixed for approx. 30 seconds, with a low speed mixer (300 rpm). It is important to stir the mixture thoroughly near the sides and bottom of the container, to achieve uniform dispersion of the hardener. Finally, component C is added under continuous stirring. Mixing is done with a low-speed mixer and should go on until a fully homogeneous mixture is obtained. No water should be added to the mixture.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Application process<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">EPOMAX-CMT should be applied at a thickness of up to 3 mm with a trowel or spatula.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;]<div class=\"standard-arrow bullet-top\"><ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Working time of epoxy systems decreases when ambient temperature rises.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The surface of EPOMAX-CMT after the application should be protected from moisture for 24 hours. Moisture may whiten the surface or\/and make it sticky. It may also disturb hardening.
