It offers the following advantages:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Easy application<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Resistance to UV radiation and weather conditions (rain, frost)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Resistance to detergents, oils, sea water, alkalis.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Vapor permeability<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Resistance to pedestrian traffic and light vehicular traffic<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Certified according to EN\u00a0 1504-2 and classified as a coating for surface protection of concrete. Ce marked.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">VARNISH-PU 2K is suitable for waterproofing and protection of:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Decorative microcement coatings<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Concrete<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Natural stone<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Wood<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Metal surfaces<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Epoxy coating (e.g. as protevtion of EPOXYCOAT-S inside swimming pools). It provides resistance to chalking and discoloration, caused by UV radiation.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Substrate preparation<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">The substrate must be dry, clean, free of grease, loose particles, dust, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Mixing<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Components A (resin) and B (hardener) are packaged in two separate containers, at the correct, fixed mixing ratio by weight. All of component B is dded to component A. The two components should be mixed for 2-3 minutes, using a low-speed mixer (300 rpm). It is important to thoroughly stir the mixture near the sides and bottom of the container, to achieve uniform dispersion of the hardener. It is advised to let it rest\u00a0 for a few minutes after mixing to help entrapped air escape.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Application-Consumption<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">VARNISH-PU 2K is applied by roller, brush, or airless gun. Depending on the porosity and intended use of the substrate, 2-4 coats are required. Each coat is applied within 24 hours from the previous one, depending on the weather conditions. Consumption: 70-120 g\/m2 per coat, depending on the porosity of the substrate. Tools should be cleaned with SM-28 while VARNISH-PU 2K is still fresh.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;]<div class=\"standard-arrow bullet-top\"><ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Surfaces with entrapped moisture must be completely dry, prior to the application of VARNISH-PU 2K.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Application on epoxy systems must be done 1-2 days after their application and provided they have dried.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">When applied in swimming pools, the pool must be filled with water at least 7 days after the application of VARNISH-PU 2K.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Surface where water-repellent impregnations have been applied in the past might cause adhesion problems. It is recommended to first perform a trial application, in order to check the compatibility of the substrate.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>[\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;]<div class=\"standard-arrow bullet-top\"><ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Temperature during the application and hardening of the product should be between +8oC and +35oC.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The substrate&#8217;s moisture content must be &lt; 4% and the ambient moisture &lt; 65%.
