Ideal for high-humidity areas, e.g. kitchens, bathrooms, etc. DOMOSIL-MICRO remains color stable and offers 10 years no mold guarantee, providing that normal cleaning practices are followed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Substrate preparation<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Substrate must be free of dust, loose particles, grease, oil, etc. It is advisable that the joint be cleaned up using a paintbrush or wire brush and then air-blasted. To avoid undesirable soiling at joint edges, masking tape should be applied alongside the edges and then removed immediately after sealing the joint (before a film is formed).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Application<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">The cartridge is inserted in the special gun and the nozzle is cut nozzle slantwise, so that it does not fit into the joint but barely touches and slides along the edges. Silicone is applied by moving thecatridge alongside the joint axis at a 45o angle.
