DRYWALL PAINT BY OIKOS  is a high covering, ecological acrylic paint which can be applied directly on walls without the use of a sealer. It is washable, dermatologically tested and has a high covering capacity. The product is ideal for use on plasterboard, degumidifying plaster and for all home environments. The product is available in a large selection of pastel tones. Compliant with CAM (Minimum Environmental Criteria). III level certification EPD.

Ideal Use

Interior walls both in masonry or plasterboard, new or already tinted.

Surface Preparation

Clean the surface to be painted, removing all dust and any loose material. On very absorbent or crumbly surfaces, apply the necessary acrylic sealer, CRILUX or NEOFIX by OIKOS. In order to increase the coverage of the application cycle, apply the pigmented primer IL PIGMENTATO by OIKOS. On plasterboard surfaces or surfaces in good condition, after having cleaned the surface and eliminated the main imperfections, it is possible to apply the product without the use of sealer.

Application Method

Using either a brush or rroler apply one or two coats of DRYWALL PAINT according to the required coverage. Dilute the product 20% with water for application by roller, or 30% water for application by brush. Wait 4 hours between coats. On smooth surfaces such as stucco screeds or plasterboard, it is possible to apply the product without the use of sealer.

Applicarion Method

Dilute the product 20% with water for application by roller, or 30% water for application by brush. Wait 4 hours between coats. On smooth surfaces such as stucco screeds or plasterboard, it is recommended to apply the product using a roller for water based paints and immediately pass back over a roller for enamels Rullo per Smalto art A04 by OIKOS or similar roller in order to have a more even distribution of the product.

Safety Information

The product does not contain any heavy metals such as Chrome or Lead nor noes it contain any toxic solvents, aromas and chlorate. There is no risk of any dangerous polymerisation. The product is considered to be a non-dangerous substance if used in the technically correct manner. Normal cautionary measures for the handling of water based paints are advised. No special arrangements are required for the storage, movement and transportation of the product; the containers, residue, eventual split material should be cleaned up using absorbent inert material such as sand, soil etc. and then disposed of in accordance with the regional and national regulations in force at that time. Transportation must be carried out in accordance with international agreements.

Specifications

After 6 hours apply two coats of an acrylic- cinty paint with EPD certification, with Class A+ under Emissions Classifications such as DRYWALL PAINT by OIKOS that is protective, unalterable, washable, self- dilating and water repellent.
