Pigmented filling primer based on siloxane resins for exterior. With excellent penetration, in addition to consolidating the wall, it allows to limit and homogenise its absorption. It is indispensable as a primer for siloxane paints to obtain high transpiration paint cycles.

Technical Qualities
DECORSIL PRIMER PIGMENTATO by OIKOS is a special pigmented infilling primer for exterior produced with siloxanic resins. Highly pervasive, it consolidates the surface and renders the absorption homogenous. it is essential for highly vapour permeable, siloxanic paint cycles on high diffusion and dehumidifying plasters. its coverage allows to save on the finishing products. DECORSIL PRIMER PIGMENTATO can be applied  on alkaline surfaces, gypsum plasters, civil plasters, rustic plasters, old walls, powdering surfaces. It has a low odour level, is non inflammable and is friendly to both humans and the environment.

Ideal Use
Interior and exterior walls of prestigious buildings, recommended for high diffusion and dehumidifying plasters.

Surface Preparation
Surfaces must be completely dry and mature, new plaster must mature at least 30 days  to allow complete carbonisation of the surface. Clean the surfaces to be treated and remove loose or flaking materials. In case of new plasters, make sure the substrate is thoroughly dry. In case of restoration works, repair large water infiltration or leaks.

Application Method
Allow the wall to dry before proceeding to apply DECORSIL PRIMER PIGMENTATO, diluted with 40-60% of water =, by brush, roller or spray gun. Allow 12 hours to dry before the application of finish products.

Finish
Finish coatings of the Facade Division.

Safety Information
The product is free of heavy metals such as lead or chrome. It does not contain toxic solvents, aromatics or chlorides. There is no risk of any dangerous polymerisation. The product is considered to be a non dangerous substance if used in the technically correct manner. Normal cautionary measures for the handling of water based paints are advised. No special arrangements are required for the storage, movement and transportation of the product; the containers, residue, eventual spilt material should be cleaned up using absorbent inert material such as sand, soil etc. and then disposed of in accordance with the regional and national regulations in force at that time. Transportation must be carried out in accordance with internaional agreements.
