ISOMAT BATH & KITCHEN is a premium, anti-mold, matt emulsion paint for interior use. Expertly formulated with special fungicides, it inhibits fungal and bacterial growth, drastically preventing mold from growing. Ideal for surfaces with high levels of humidity and condensation, such as kitchens, bathrooms, ceilings, basements, etc. Features excellent great workability and flow, as well as quick-drying time and outstanding resistance to frequent washing and aging. Provides strong adhesion to any type of old or new substrate. Offers a beautiful matt finish. Nearly odorless. Certified for its antibacterial activity according to ISO 22196:2011. ISOMAT BATH & KITCHEN is used for indoor applications especially on wet areas, on new or old surfaces, on all common building materials such as concrete, plaster, gypsum boards, etc.

Substrate preparation
The substrate should be dry and free of grease, loose particles, dust, etc.

• Cracks or joints may be filled with ISOMASTIC-A acrylic sealant or ISOMAT ACRYL-STUCCO acrylic filler.
• Concrete imperfections should be repaired with DUROCRET polymer-modified mortar.
• Plastered wall may be repaired with UNICRET and UNICRET-FAST premixed mortars.
• For smoothing of surfaces, STUCCOCRET powder filler should be used.

When it comes to repainting surfaces affected by mold, it is essential that the surface be cleaned first with ISOMAT’s special mold remover CL-MOLD. CL-MOLD should be left to act for 24 h and then the mold residue is removed with a sponge and rinsed with clean water. Finally, the surface should be allowed to dry completely. The surface should be primed with the acrylic, micronized, water-based primer PRIMER-CLASSIC, thinned up to 50% with clean water. PRIMER-CLASSIC is also ideal to use for stabilization of loose or crumbly substrates. Surfaces stained by smoke, nicotine, exhaust fumes, water-soluble markers, pencils, etc. should be primed with the stain blocker BLOCK-PRIMER. Priming is not necessary on already  painted surfaces as long as the old paint is sound.

Application
ISOMAT BATH & KITCHEN should be thoroughly stirred before use. It is applied as is or thinned 5-10% with clean water, in two coats, with a roller, brush or airless gun. The second coat is applied once the first one has completely dried. Temperature during application and drying should be between +10oC and +35oC.
