MARMOCRET-PLUS Decor is a premixed render (skim coat) with coarse aggregate (up to 3 mm), enhanced with resins.
MARMOCRET-PLUS Decor offers:
- Total water-repellency, acc to DIN 18550.
- Excellent vapor permeability (breathability).
- No need for facade painting.
- Stable standardized properties. Suitable for indoor and outdoor application.
- Crack prevention unlike ordinary cement lime renders.
- Simplified application on site (needs only water).
Certified according to EN 998-1 and classified as GP CS II, W2 mortar. CE marked.
MARMOCRET-PLUS Decor is used to create a white or colored water-repellent, coarse-textured surface on substrates where flexibility and adhesion are required. It can replace the final render coat (finish or setting coat). In combination with the fiber-reinforced adhesive ISOMAT AK-THERMO, it is used as a system for application on thermal insulation boards.
Substrate preparation
The substrate must be free of dust, grease, loose particles, etc. When necessary, before the application of MARMOCRET-PLUS Decore the substrate is well dampened or primed with PL-PRIMER, which reduce the absorptivity of the substrate to ensure color uniformity all over the surface.
Application
MARMOCRET-PLUS Decor is added to clean waater under continuous stirring, until a mortar with the required workability is formed. The mixer to be used should be clean, to avoid any alteration of the render’s color. The render is applied by hand using a float or trowel, or with a rendering machine to a thickness of 2.5-3.5 mm. The render is then treated (pressed) by plastic or wooden float, in horizontal, vertical, or circular movements depending on the desired appearance of the surface. Working time depends on the absorbency of the substrate and ambient temperature.
12 months from production date if stored in original, unopened packaging, in frost-free and dry conditions.
