MARMOCRET-PLUS Fine is a premixed render (skim coat) with fine-grained aggregate (up to 1.3 mm), enhanced with resins.
MARMOCRET PLUS Fine offers:

- Crack prevention unlike ordinary cement lime renders.
- Simplified application on site (needs only water).
MARMOCRET-PLUS Fine is used to create a white or colored water-repellent final smooth surface on substrates where high flexibility and adhesion are required. It usually replaces the final render coat (finish or setting coat). In combination with the fiber-reinforced adhesive ISOMAT AK-THERMO, it is used as part of an external thermal insulation system.
Substrate preparation
The substrate must be free of dust, grease, loose particles, etc. If considered necessary, before the application of MARMOCRET-PLUS Fine, dampen the substrate well or prime it with PL-PRIMER that will reduce the absorbency ofthe substrate, ensuring color uniformity all over the surface.
Application
MARMOCRET-PLUS Fine is added to clean water under continuous stirring, until a mortar of the required workability is formed. The mixer to be used should be clean, to avoid any alteration of the render’s color. The render is applied by hand, using a float, trowel or rendering machine. Then, it is smoothed by hand using a sponge float, after it has sufficiently set. Working time depends on the substrate absorptivity, ambient temperature and workability of the mixture.
