NEOFIX is a transparent, acrylic sealer for interiors. Formulated with special acrylic resins characterized by the small molecular dimension, it is highly pervasive (up to 5mm), thus consolidating and sealing thesurface. It is particularly indicated for very absorbent walls, old plasters, gypsum screeds, fibre cement and generally all wall surfaces. The product has a low odour level, is non-inflammable and friendly to both humans and the environment.

Surface Preparation

Clean the surface to be painted, removing all loose material. With new plasters, ensure that the substrate is thoroughly dry and mature.

Application Method

On the surfaces with average absorbency apply one coat of NEOFIX by OIKOS diluted 50% with drinkable water. On flaking or heavily absorbent surfaces apply two coats wet on wet diluted 100% with drinkable water. The application can be conducted by brush, roller or spray gun (1,3mm nozzle). Wait 4-6 hours before proceeding with the finish.

Safety Information

The product is free of heavy metals such as lead or chrome. It does not contain toxic solvents, aromatics or chlorides. There is no risk of any dangerous polymerisation. The product is considered to be a non-dangerous substance if used in the technically correct manner. Normal cautionary measures for the gandling of water based paints are advise. No special arrangements are required for the storage, movement and transportation of the product; the containers, residue, eventual spilt material should be vleaned up using absorbent inert material such as sand, soil etc. and then disposed of in accordance with the regional and national regulations in force at that time. Transportation must be carried out in accordance with international agreements.
