ASPHALTOS is a ready-to-use cold lay asphalt designed for localized patching of asphalt and concrete pavements. It features high flexibility and resistance to cracking caused by expansion and contraction. It has super adhesion to the substrate while withstanding traffic. It shows high resistance to weather conditions and aging. It’s an easy repair solution with no requirements for substrate preparation work or specil equipment. The repaired pavement can be re-opened to traffic immediately. Suitable for quick repair of small road defects e.g. potholes, voids, cracks, etc. Ideal for localized repairs on highways, urban and rural roads, in bridge decks, parking lots as well as in yards of factories, schools, hospitals, etc.

Substrate preparation
The area to be repaired must be clean, free of dust, grease, loose material, etc., especially at its perimeter. Remove any standing water prior to product application. If the repair depth is greater than 10 cm, it is recommended to spread sand and gravel and then tamp the surface down.

Application
The repair mixture is ready to use and does not need agitation or stirring. The pothole is filled with the asphalt mixture to a height of 1-2 cm above the surrounding area. Then, the product is properly compacted with a shovel, roller or even with the tires of a car. Repaired pavement can be driven over immediately after compaction.
