Protective agent for concrete with transparent colorless effect. It acts deeply in the substrate, forming a water-repellent barrier, without changing the vapor permeability and appearance. The water slides along the walls avoiding absorption or stagnation, reducing dirt accumulation. It is also used on other substrates, as long as they are absorbent, such as: bricks, stoneware, tiles or stone, cement or lime based plasters.

Technical Qualities
BETONCRYLL WATER-REPELLENT by OIKOS is a special protective coating for concrete with a transparent colourless finish. The product is based on silicone/siloxanic resins in water dispersion which allows the product to penetrate deep into the substrate creating a water-repellent barrier, which maintains the level of vapour permeability and leaves the aspect of the substrate unaltered. it allows rainwater to slide along the walls preventing absorption and reducing dirt retention. It can also be used on brickwork, gres, tiles, stone and cement or lime-based plasters. It has a low odour level, is non-inflammable and is friendly to both humans and the environment.

Surface Preparation
Clean the surface to be treated, removing any loose or flaking material, dust smog or dirt using a brush or by washing the surface. New surfaces must be thoroughly dry and mature with no presence of grease or lubricants.

Safety Information
The product is free of heavy metals such as lead or chrome. It does not contain toxic solvents, aromatics or chlorides. There is no risk of any dangerous polymerisation. The product is considered to be a non-dangerous substance if used in the technically correct manner. Normal cautionary measures for the handling of water based paints are advised. No special arrangements are required for the storage, movement and transportation of the product; the containers, residue, eventual spilt material should be cleaned up using absorbent inert material such as sand, soil etc. and then disposed of in accordance with the regional and national regulations in force at that time. Transportation must be carried out in accordance with international agreements.

Specifications
