IL PIGMENTATO by OIKOS is a special, highly vapour permeable, coloured primer for interiors. It is based onacrylic resins in water dispersion with titanium dioxide fillers. This product is able to permeate deep into the surface, which further than consolidating the wall, allows it to limit and make more even the absorption on the surface. Given its high covering power, the amount of finishing products used is reduced. It can be applied on alkaline substrates, civil plasters, rustic plasters, old walls, powdering plasters or plasters which are highly absorbent. The product has a low level of odour, is non-inflammable and is friendly to both humans and the environment. Compliant with CAM (Minimum Environmental Criteria). III level certification.EPD. Product certified in class “A+” under emissions classifications (Decree of the Official French Gazzette dated 19th April 2011).

Surface Preparation
Clean the surface to be painted, removing all loose material. With new plasters, ensure that the substrate is thoroughly dry and mature.
Application Method
Apply one coat of IL PIGMENTATO by OIKOS diluted with 50 – 100% of drinkable water. The application can be conducted by brush, roller or spray gun. Wait 6-8 hours before applying finishing products.
Safety Information
The product is free of heavy metals such as lead or chrome. It does not contain toxic solvents, aromatics or chlorides. There is no risk of any dangerous polymerisation. The product is considered to be a non-dangerous substance if used in the technically correct manner. Normal cautionary measures for the handling of water based paints are advised. No special arrangements are required for the storage, movement and transportation of the product; the containers, residue, eventual spilt material should be cleaned up using absorbent inert material such as sand, soil etc. and then disposed of in accordance with the regional and national regulations in force at that time. Transportation must be carried out in accordance with international agreements.
