ISOMAT PROFESSIONAL ACRYL

ISOMAT PROFESSIONAL ACRYL is a matt acrylic paint for exterior use, ideal for professionals. Suitable for new or old surfaces requiring frequent repainting, such as in public buildings, hotels, hospitals, schools, etc., as well as surfaces stained with graffiti. Features high opacity and surface coverage while offering great workability and flow. Has high resistance to weather conditions and aging, as well as quick-drying and recoat times. Offers a beautiful matt finish. The white is certified as cool paint. Certified according to EN 1504-2 and classified as a coating for surface protection of concrete. Ce marked. ISOMAT PROFESSIONAL ACRYL is used for indoor or outdoor applications, on new or old surfaces, on substrates such as concrete, plaster, bricks, gypsum boards, asbestos cement, wood, on surfaces puttied with acrylic or cementitious putties, etc.
Substrate preparation
The substrate should be dry and free of grease, loose particles, dust, etc.
  • Cracks or joints are filled with ISOMASTIC-A acrylic sealant or ISOMAT ACRYL-STUCCO acrylic filler.
  • Any imperfections in concrete should be patched with DUROCRET polymer-modified mortar, while imperfections in exposed concrete should be treated with PLANFIX or PLANFIX-FINE polymer-modified fillers.
  • Plastered wall may be patched with UNICRET and UNICRET-FAST premixed mortars.

The substrate should be primed with the silicone acrylic, micronized, water-based primer PRIMER ACRYL, thinned up to 50% with clean water or with primer, thinned up to 100% with SM-21 by ISOMAT or with WHITE SPIRIT. These primers are also ideal to use for stabilization of loose or crumbly substrates.

Application
Before use, ISOMAT PROFESSIONAL ACRYL should be thoroughly stirred and applied as is or thinned 5-10% with clean water. Two coats of ISOMAT PROFERSSIONAL ACRYL are applied with a roller, brush or airless gun. The second coat is applied after the first one has completely dried. Temperature during application and drying of the paint should be between +10 oC and +35 oC.

  • ISOMAT PROFESSIONAL ACRYL covers approx. 12 m2/l per coat, when applied on previously prepared surfaces.
  • ISOMAT PROFESSIONAL ACRYL is supplied in 0,75 l, 3 l and 9 l containers.
