ISOMAT STANDARD ACRYL

ISOMAT STANDARD COLOR is a matt emulsion paint for use on interior walls and ceilings. Suitable for new or old surfaces requiring periodic repainting, e.g. publick buildings, hotels, hospitals, schools, etc. Features very good opacity and surface coverage while offering great workability and flow. Has quick-drying and recoat times. Delivers a beautiful matt finish. Nearly odorless. ISOMAT STANDARD COLOR is used for indoor applications, on new or old surfaces, on common building materials such as concrete, plaster, gypsum boards, etc.
Substrate preparation
The substrate should be dry and free of grease, loose particles, dust, etc.
  • Cracks or joints may be filled with ISOMASTIC-A acrylic sealant or ISOMAT ACRYL-STUCCO acrylic filler.
  • Concrete imperfections should be repaired with DUROCRET polymer-modified mortar.
  • Plastered wall may be repaired with UNICRET and UNICRET-FAST premixed mortars.
  • For smoothing of surfaces, STUCCOCRET powder filler should be used.

The substrate should be primed with the concentrated, acrylic water-based primer ISOMAT PROFESSIONAL PRIMER, thinned 300-400% with clean water. Loose or crumbly substrates should be primed with the acrylic, micronized, water-based primer PRIMER-CLASSIC, thinned up to 50% with clean water. Surfaces stained by smoke, nicotine, exhaust fumes, water-soluble markers, pencil, etc. should be primed with the stain blocker BLOCK-PRIMER. Priming is not necessary on already painted surfaces as long as the old paint is sound.

Application
ISOMAT STANDARD COLOR should be thoroughly stirred before use. It is applied as is or thinned 5-10% with clean water. ISOMAT STANDARD COLOR is applied in two coats with a roller, brush, or airless gun. The second coat is applied once the first coat has completely dried.

  • ISOMAT STANDARD COLOR covers approx, 12 m2/l per  coat, on previously prepared surfaces.
  • ISOMAT STANDARD COLOR is supplied in containers of 3 l and 9 l.
