Micotral ecological anti-condensation paint Sanitizing, washable, breathable with hollow glass microspheres that act as insulation on the wall, able to reduce thermal shock: “internal heat versus external cold protecting it from the development of mold and bacteria. Particularly suitable for rooms with a high presence of steam such as bathrooms, kitchens, laundries, where it is easier to form surface condensation which generates mold over time.

Technical Qualities
Anti-condensation paint containing hollow glass microspheres that act as insulation and are able to therefore reduce the temperature difference between interior and exterior and as such contributing in preventing the formation of moulds and algae and in relative terms to energy saving.

Ideal Use
Interior walls with problems of condensation, north facing walls and walls with little exposure to the sun.

Surface Preparation
Prepare the surface by removing all exisiting mould and algae using the indicated detergent STERYIFIX by OIKOS and with the sanifying primer STERYLSAN by OIKOS.

Application Method
The application method for MICOTRAL varies according to the effect desired. 
Smooth finish: apply by brush or roller a first coat of MICOTRAL diluted 25-30 with drinkable water. after 6-8 hours, apply the second coat of the product diluted 20-25% with drinkable water.
Orange peel finish: apply a coat of the product diluted 20-25% with drinkable water. After 6-8 hours apply by roller, a second coat of the product undiluted.

Safety Information
The product does not contain any heavy metals such as Chrome or Lead nor does it contain any toxic solvents, aromas and chlorate. There is no risk of any dangerous polymerisation. The product is considered to be a non-dangerous substance if used in the technically correct manner. Normal cautionary measures for the handling of water based paints are advised. No special arrangements are required for the storage, movement and transportation of the product; the containers, residue, eventual spilt material should be cleaned up using absorbent inert material such as sand, soil etc. and then disposed of in accordance with the regional and national regulations in force at that time. Transportation must be carried out in accordance with international agreements.

Specifications
Clean the surface to be treated by removing any loose or flaking material. Remove all mould and algae using a detergent such as STERYLFIX by OIKOS and a sanifying primer such as STERYLSAN by OIKOS. Apply two coats of an anti-condensation paint in class A+ under emissions classification such as MICOTRAL by OIKOS.
