MULTIDECOR SKIN is an ecological matt paint that creates on the surface a refined, textured textile finish which enlivens the surface with its dark light effects. It is gentle and “unique” to touch, lending both a contemporary and elegant look. MULTIDECOR SKIN is an ecological product characterized by good washability, vapour permeability and scratch- resistant. It is easy to apply and can be used to create several textures in a wide range of colours.

Surface preparation
Clean the surface to be painted, removing any loose or flaking material. Only on powdering or old surfaces, apply one coat of sealer CRILUX or NEOFIX by OIKOS. On rough or irregular surfaces, screed using STUCCO IN PASTA PER RASATURA by OIKOS. Proceed with preparation of the base by applying two coats of ULTRASATEN by OIKOS diluted 20-25% with drinkable water in the same shade chosen for the MULTIDECOR SKIN. In case a more intense finish is required it is possible to use ULTRASATEN in a lighter tonality or in white.

Application Method
Camoscio. Apply MULTIDECOR SKIN, undiluted, in an irregular fashion using a medium sized inox steel trowel until the whole surface has been covered. Before the product dries, pass over the surface again in an irregular fashion with the trowel without any product in order to obtain the desired two – tone velvet effect. Yield: 6-7 sqm/l

Lamiera. Apply MULTIDECOR SKIN undiluted, in vertical stripes using a medium sized inox steel trowel until the entire surface has been covered. Before the product dires, pass over the applied product with the trowel without any product following the same direction used in the application of the product in order to obtain the geometrical effect desired.

Filato. Apply by brush MULTIDECOR SKIN, diluted 10% with drinkable water, following the direction chosen for the decorative effect. Make a final pass over the product with the brush without any product so as to even the surface and enhance the rifling. It is advisable to work on strips of about 50 cm at a time. Wield: 6-8 sqm/l.

Fiandra. Apply by brush MULTIDECOR SKIN, undiluted, in the direction chosen for the decoration. Immediately process the product by using the specific tool Tampone Mille Righe to create the rifiling. It is advisable to work on strips of about 50 cm at a time. Once dry, repeat the same application method whilst crossing the direction of the application to form the texture. Yield 5-6 sqm/l.

Canvas. Prepare squares of thin PVC-coated fiberglass mesh of the desired size. Apply by brush MULTIDECOR SKIN, undiluted, onto a portion of wall proportionate to the dimension of the mesh squares created. Place the mesh onto the wall and apply once again MULTIDECOR SKIN using s stainless steel trowel. Remove the mesh and proceed to work the nearby areas until the whole wall has been processed. The joints between the squares are part of the decorative effect. Yield 5-6 sqm/l.

Canapa. Apply by brush MULTIDECOR SKIN, undiluted, starting from a corner of the wall and proceeding by diagonal brush strokes. Using the rough side of the Sponge Glove immediately gently pass over the surface so as to create diagonal stripes along the entire wall. Before the product gets dry, create some short new stripes by crossing the direction of the Glove. Yield: 6-8 sqm/l

Pergamena. Using a brush, apply undiluted MULTIDECOR SKIN over an area of approximately 80 x 80 cm. On the product applied, spread out a sheet of plastic Pellicola that has already been crumpled up, lightly press the sheet onto the surface and move it about slightly using the palms of the hands. Continue over the surface in the same way, putting plastic sheets on sections of the applied material in an irregular fashion until the whole surface is covered, In order to avoid visible joints in the effect, it is recommended to distribute the sheets in an irregular fashion over the surface and not in chessboard pattern. The sheets should not be detached too early so as to avoid also removing the product, but they must not be left too long either so as to avoid that they stick too much to the surface. The ideal time to leave the sheets for is between 30 minutes and 1 hour according to the temperature. Once the product has dried, it is possible to repeat the operation so as to emphasize the decorative effect. Yield: 3-4 sqm/lt.

Corten. Use as a base coat Ultrasaten in the shade B715. Apply by brush MULTIDEOCR SKIN, undiluted, creating vertical bands, as weel superimposed, in the shades N 918, N 1218, N 1308. Immediately fare the shades by passing over the surface with a steel trowel in the direction of the created bands. Yield: 6-7 sqm/l

Cemento. Using a medium sized stainless steel trowel apply MULTIDECOR SKIN, undiluted, in vertical or horizontal bands accordingly to the direction chosen for the decoration. Immediately pass over the surface using the Attrezzo Legnato tool sa as to create the decorative effect. Gently pass over again with the trowel. It is advisable to work on strips of about 50 cm at a time. Yield: 6-7 sqm/l

Safety Information
The product contains no heavy metals such as chrome or lead or toxic solvents, aromas and chlorates. The product does not give rise to dangerous polymerisations. The product in not considered as dangerous if used in a technically correct manner. Normal precautionary measures for the handling of water based paints are suggested. For the storage and movement of the material, no particular considerations are required; the containers, residual material or eventual spillages should be collected, using inert absorbent materials such as sand or earth and then disposed of in line with the regional or national regulations that are in force. Transportation should be carried out in observance of international agreements.
