RAPICRET

RAPICRET is a pre-mixed, rapid-setting, polymer-modified, cementitious repair mortar, offering:

  • Strong adhesion to the substrate
  • Superior workability
  • Reduced water permeability

Certified according to EN 1504-3 and classified as a PCC R3 mortar for concrete repairs. Certificate No.: 2032-CPR 10.11. CE marked.
RAPICRET is suitable for rapid repair of concrete elements, fixing, anchoring, patching of cavities or holes, forming fillets, etc., and generally wherever high strength and fast application are required. RAPICRET may be applied to floors, walls, or ceilings.

Substrate preparation
The sbstrate must be clean, free of dust, oil, or grease, loose materials, etc. and should be thoroughly dampened before application of RAPICRET.

Application
RAPICRET is slowly added to the water (the mixing ratio of RAPICRET:water is 3:6:1 by volume) under continuous stirring, until a viscous, slump-free mass is formed, suitable for patching or fixing works. Mixing time should not exceed 1 min. It is recommended to mix a small quantity every time because of the short working time (about 15 min at +20oC). RAPICRET is applied in layers not thicker than 3 cm.

  • Application temperature should be between +5 oC and +30 oC.
  • Material that has started to harden should not be re-softened with water.
  • At high temperatures, it is recommended to mix with cold water to avoid rapid setting.
  • At low temperatures, it is recommended to mix with warm water to accelerate setting.
  • RAPICRET contains cement that reacts with water forming alkaline solutions, thus is classified as irritant.
  • Please consult the directions for safe use and precautions written on the packaging before use.
