VS-1 is a ready-to-use, transparent acrylic varnish with solvents, used to protect natural stone, including slate and limestone and artificial building materials, e.g. decorative brickwork, roof tiles, etc.

Substrate preparation
The surfaces to be treated with VS-1 should have open pores. Adjacent surfaces such as windows, painted surfaces and solvent-sensitive materials such as polystyrene, joint sealants, bitumen, etc., have to be protected during VS-1 application.
Application
The application of VS-1 is carred out with a brush, roller or spray in two layers. The second layer can be applied as soon as the first one has dried.
